Wadi Ghuweir
Wadi Gwer (Al-Nakhil), located several kilometers from Al-Shoubak, is considered one of the longest water valleys in southern Jordan, with a length of more than 18 km. This valley contains many cool and pure drinking water springs, and rare species of animals and birds
Enjoy the gravel-filled riverbed at the bottom of the valley, next to the flowing waterfalls, and the relaxing sound of gurgling water, all the way to the entrance to Gwer Valley, which is similar to the Siq in Petra. This trail is full of scenic and different views of stone formations and many unique plants and trees on both banks of the river. These sights amaze visitors and make them forget how long it took them to walk to reach it! Upon arrival, you can relax and have a cup of tea while the accompanying guide tells you more about the area. From there you continue walking until you reach the Byzantine ruins at Khirbet Feynan and then to your final destination.
